If you are looking for a comprehensive Android Class then this is the course for you. We cover a vast array of topics related to Android Application Development in this 3-day class. The objective of this course is to make you comfortable with the Android SDK and set you on your way to Android Application Development. Learn how to make and Android Application and get comfortable with the Android Market.

The class begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM on all 3 days. At 9:00 AM students settle in with coffee that is provided with the class. This helps tremendously as students don’t have to worry about making coffee arrangements in the morning. Lunch is also included on all days and thus the students don’t have to worry about making lunch plans. Lunch is brought to the class or to a close by vicinity; this is extremely beneficial as it eliminates almost any lunch related concerns for the students.

The class is taught in a very friendly and interactive manner where students have the opportunity to ask questions and the instructor is able to pay individual attention to all the students. Class sizes are always kept small with no more than 15 students in each class.

Day 1 begins at 9:00 AM with coffee as students settle into the comfortable classroom. At the beginning of Day 1 all appropriate installations are made for the class. After the required installations the class begins with an Android overview, SDK components overview and a Platform Tools overview; this leads into lunch. After lunch the topics covered include Android Framework Overview, Android Application Architecture and an Overview of Layouts, UI Elements and Views.

Day 2 begins at 9:00 AM with coffee and a quick review of Day 1. Morning topics for day 2 include Activities, Event Handling Mechanism and an overview of Intents, Services and Broadcast; this leads into lunch. After lunch we cover Content Providers, Debugging Android Code, Media Frameworks, Working with Advanced UI Controls and an overview of Activity Life Cycle.

Day 3 begins with coffee and a quick review of Day 1 and Day 2.
